TO ALL OF OUR LOYAL
PATRONS

        As I am sure you are aware, there has been an extensive construction and renovation project occurring at The Grosse Pointe Academy for quite some time.  It has always been our understanding that this construction would greatly affect us in the summers of 2006 and 2007 (which, of course, it did!), but that the summer of 2008 looked good.  However, as fate would have it, this has turned out not to be the case.  Thus, in the best interest of all concerned, we must cancel the Blue Streak All-Sports Camp for this summer.  You can rest assured that we have tried every possible means and exhausted every opportunity in an attempt to continue the long tradition of our camp in the Grosse Pointe area.  However, these attempts have proven fruitless. 

        For those of you who will be in need of summer activity for your child, we have spoken to Cindy Demerino at the Grosse Pointe Hunt Club.  Their day camp is very similar in price to our camp and Cindy is happy to help you if you call her at 313-882-4100.   We have also spoken to the University Liggett Day Camp and they have informed us that they do in fact have room in their camp and would welcome you as well!

        In closing, please accept my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience this causes you and your family.  Although this was not a decision we were happy to make, we can all rest assured this decision was made with the safety and well being of your child in mind.
