2010 Ken Rockhold Basketball Officials Camp   June 18th & 19th at Cleveland State University - just $99.00 Friday: 1 p.m. – 10 p.m. / Saturday: 8 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Ken Rockhold has been involved in basketball officiating since 1971.  His career as an official spanned 25 years at the high school and collegiate level and included a multitude of high school sectional, district, regional and state playoff games.  In 1982 Ken was appointed commisioner of the Pioneer Conference and during his tenure was instrumental in bringing three-person crews and mechanics to Ohio high school basketball.  In 2006, Ken was named officiating assigner for the 18-team Northeast Ohio Conference.  Ken has also served as an officials observer at the OHSAA State Tournament and for the Mid-American Conference.  A member of the LEBOA Hall of Fame, Ken's officiating knowledge and his concern for the well being of officials have made him one of the most well-respected and well-liked individuals in officating.     We have designed our program to help basketball officials enhance their skills and to gain valuable insight and experience.  We focus our attention on in-depth classroom and on-floor instruction, as well as exposing campers to officials assigners and supervisors.  This camp is for those officials who are serious about improving their game and having some fun.  We hope you will join us!   Qoutes from past campers:   "Camp was tremendous for me.  I really enjoyed learning the 3-man rotations.  I made very significant improvements in where I was coming into camp on Friday compared with my performance level on Saturday afternoon.  I am so much more confident in my abilities than I was before camp.  Really, it was great."   "Thank you so much, Ken.  I have been bragging to my wife, family and friends about how great your camp was.  I have also bragged about your incredible staff.  You are an exceptional father figure and mentor to so many people and your camp has given me so much confidence as an official.  Thank you!"   "I thought it was the best run camp I have ever been a part of.  The attitude of the entire camp was one of everyone trying to get better , while knowing they do not have to impress!"   "I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to help me improve my skills as a basketball official.  The camp was a tremendous experience for me, especially since I had had limited exposure to three-person mechanics."    "Excellent camp.
